When connecting the tuner to the TV, you must first turn off the power to all equipment completely. According to technical capabilities, select the appropriate cable in order to connect the tuner to the TV.
HDMI connection
- When all equipment is de-energized, the tuner must be connected to the TV simultaneously via component (composite) and via HDMI.
- Turn on the power of the TV and tuner.
- By default, HDMI output is disabled, on the TV you should switch the input to component (composite).
- Reset the tuner to factory settings by simultaneously pressing the MENU and OK buttons located on the front panel, and hold them for 2-3 seconds, after releasing all buttons, you need to confirm the reset once by pressing the OK button on the tuner panel or on the remote control.
- Rearrange the power cord of the tuner to the HDMI output - on. After that, you need to switch the input to HDMI on the TV, this is done in the input selection menu on the TV.
- You should wait a little while the tuner is finally loaded, after which you should make the initial tuning of the tuner: select the language, signal source and resolution (576p-720p), all these actions must be done while you are still connected to the component (composite).
- Have you set up? All now the component (composite) can be turned off.
- Depending on the format supported by your TV, HD resolution can now be upscaled up to 1080i.
- If it is difficult to call the main menu when viewing in full screen mode, double-click the OK button.
- In order to stretch the image to full screen, do the following manipulations: Menu> Settings> System settings> Pin-code 0000 => Installation settings => TV settings => Format selection (Stretch)!
If after performing the operations described here it is not possible to connect the tuner via HDMI cable, turn off the TV and decoder and turn on again. The order of inclusion can be arbitrary. Also, when connecting the tuner to the TV, you can use an HDMI-DVI cable, but note that with this connection, the sound will not be played, it must be connected using additional cables.
