Sometimes mobile device users need to hide some data from strangers. The easiest way in this case is not to leave your phone unattended, but there are other options.
Necessary
special file manager for phone or zip archiver
Instructions
Step 1
Use special utilities that assign the "Hidden" attribute to files in your smartphone. These can be different file managers, browsers, and so on. Please note that the application must be supported by the operating system installed on your mobile device. You can find out the platform compatibility on the application download page.
Step 2
In the menu of the installed and running program, hide in the properties of files the function of viewing them in normal mode using standard utilities available in the phone. To make the files visible, use the same sequence. The data will be available for viewing only if the browser or file manager you are running is running. Also, many of these applications allow setting a startup password.
Step 3
Use an alternative method. If a zip archiver is installed on your mobile device, place the files you need that you want to hide from strangers in a separate folder on your computer.
Step 4
Create a zip folder from it and place it in the phone memory. It will be impossible to open them with standard file viewers on your smartphone, so they will be inaccessible to outsiders. To view them, just go to the archiver program and select this folder in the overview.
Step 5
Set a password for the folder with data that you want to protect from viewing by unauthorized people. To do this, go to the security settings of your phone and set a password for individual menu items.
Step 6
Be careful, set only the password that you can remember yourself. This function is supported by most modern phone models. Please note that if you minimize their viewing in smartphones, they will be available in the future without entering a password.
