Broadcasting online from a webcam installed on a computer or laptop is a great way to broadcast both video and audio captured / recorded by you to friends and family. It can also be useful in work when you need to broadcast a conference or any special event to another branch or to the office of a partner company. The easiest way to connect the webcast is using the WebcamXP program, created specifically for the Windows environment.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the program from the manufacturer's website or from a torrent. Run the installation file wxp_pro.exe. Please note that if you downloaded the official release of the program, sooner or later you will need a key: without registration, WebcamXP works for a limited amount of time. When installing the program, the corresponding shortcuts appear on the desktop and in the quick launch panel, so it will be convenient to launch the installed program.
Step 2
At the first start, the program will ask you to enter the registration code. You can either enter the already received code, or postpone this action. After starting, first of all, switch the program interface language to Russian. To do this, open the "Options" menu item, open the "Languages" tab and select "Russian". By default, the program selects the HTTP server with port 8080. If necessary, stop the server and set another port number in the Server menu (for example, 2828). Enter your address in the "Internal ip address" field. Start the server again. This completes the setup of the program. You can start broadcasting. To transmit video from a webcam, select the "direct video stream" option in the "Source" menu. If you want to transfer audio streams, then sequentially select: "Audio" - "Connection" - "Audio streams" - "Your sound device". Be sure to turn on your webcam or microphone when starting your broadcast.
Step 3
In order for other users to see (hear) the broadcast of your video or audio, tell them the port number and your IP address. They will need to fill this information in the browser window in the form https://01.01.330.140:2828/. This address will open pages with your broadcast
Keep in mind that a Java machine must be installed on your computer to receive the broadcast.
