If you need to send relatively large files from your phone - photos or pictures, sounds, video - use MMS-messages. It is possible to address such a message not only to a mobile number, but also to any e-mail. If your phone is already configured for MMS transmission, you will not need any additional settings - just type the email address instead of the recipient's number and send the message as usual. For example, see how this is done in the Samsung Wave 525 smartphone.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that your number is connected to the services of receiving / transmitting MMS-messages. Usually, this service is connected by default with GPRS Internet, and the necessary profile settings for the phone are sent by the operator automatically as soon as you insert a new SIM card into the device. You can check and correct the installed profile on Samsung Wave 525 in the "Settings" - "Connection" - "Network" - "Connections" menu. In the dialog box that appears when you go to the list of available connections, click the "Yes" button.
If you do not know how to properly configure the MMS profile, contact the specialists of the subscriber service of your mobile operator for advice.
Step 2
Create a new MMS message. In Samsung Wave 525 and similar models, there is no special functionality for sending MMS - both SMS and MMS are sent from one button - "Messages". Click on it, and then on the "Create" button in the lower left corner of the screen.
Step 3
Enter in the “To” field the email address to which you want to send the MMS. To display letters on the keyboard, use the "? # +" Button located above the language switch button (see illustration). Click on it once - the inscription on it will change to abc; and once again - the phone keypad will take on a normal look. If you turn the device 90 degrees to either side, it becomes even more convenient to enter an e-mail address.
Step 4
Press your finger on the field to enter text - a notification will appear on the screen of your phone that the type of your message will be changed to MMS. Confirm your acceptance of this change - just click on the OK button.
Step 5
Enter the message text, if required. To add files to MMS, click on the button with three dots at the bottom of the screen - a menu will appear in which you can select the type of attachments. To add a picture (photo), video or sound file, select the "Add media" button in the menu; to attach other types of files, use the Attach Items and Add Text buttons.
Step 6
Select the necessary files in the phone memory or in the memory card installed in the mobile phone. If you accidentally added the wrong file, press and hold on it with your finger for a few seconds - a menu will appear to delete or replace the file.
Step 7
Adjust the MMS sending settings if you want to receive a delivery receipt. To do this, in the menu (the button with the stirrups), select the "Send parameters" item.
Step 8
Click on the "Send" button - your MMS message will be sent to the addressee. Delivery report, if you ordered it, will come to your phone.
