Smartphones with the Symbian operating system use a certificate system that allows you to control the installation of applications, their launch and access to smartphone data. This allows you to control user actions and is a kind of protection against malware. But at the same time, users have problems installing some utilities.

Symbian has 4 types of certificates that the phone "understands". These are custom, which allow the user to install applications signed by the owner of the phone, personal, and personal certificates that allow applications to gain more access to the smartphone OS (about 80% of all system files). There are also License Platform certificates that provide full access to the system (100%), but such certificates cannot be obtained by the user.

To install unsigned applications, turn off certificate verification in the smartphone settings, since they prevent the installation of applications whose reliability has not been verified (i.e. most applications). To do this, open the Application Manager ("Menu" - "Settings" - "Application Manager").
Step 3
In the menu that opens, click "Functions" - "Settings" - "Program settings" - "Verification of certificates" - "Off". Now you will be able to install most of the offerings without the need to sign one of the certificates.
Step 4
If the required application still does not start, then try to transfer the time in the phone settings to a few years ago (first, transfer not 6 months, and if it did not help, then transfer it for another 1-2 years or more), and then run the installer again.
Step 5
After the installation is complete, change the time to the current time.

In some forums dedicated to Symbian OS, users produce certificates by IMEI, with which it will be possible to certify programs using a utility for a phone (SignSIS) or for a computer (SIS Signer). Also on such forums you can leave applications for certification of applications according to your certificates.
