Step 1
Press the "Menu" button 8 times in a row and print a report, which, in addition to general information, also contains information about the current firmware. Determine if your printer has been flashed before; Usually, in cases where a flashing was performed, the letter F is added at the end of the program version. Download the USBPRNS2. EXE file from the following link https://www.zapravka.in/public/images/proshivki/usbprns2.exe. Check the download for viruses.
Step 2
Based on the version of the current program, determine which one you will need to install in the future. For OS Version 1.01.00.13 firmware download the file from the following link: https://www.zapravka.in/public/images/proshivki/samsung/SCX-4300v1.13.zip. Please note that the files do not contain viruses, but this does not mean that you do not need to scan. Take this useful procedure as a rule.
Step 3

Please note that installing the wrong firmware may cause damage, so read the printed text carefully.
Step 4
Disconnect all current USB devices from your computer except your printer. Start the process of flashing the device. Drag the firmware file you downloaded onto the USBPRNS2. EXE file. Wait for the system to complete the procedure, and then the printer will restart automatically.
Step 5
Take the cartridge out of the printer and cover the chip. Press and hold the Stop button on the print device panel for a few seconds. Then you can print a test page.
