If desired, the LCD TV can be attached to almost any wall. For installation, it is not at all necessary to call the masters and pay them extra money, because if you put a little effort, you can do everything yourself, sometimes even better than any specialist.
It is necessary
- - cardboard, pencil and scissors;
- - drill;
- - level;
- - bracket;
- - cable box;
- - Screwdriver Set;
- - bolts.
Instructions
Step 1
Think about additional devices that you want to connect to your TV in the future. Cut out a model of the plasma from the cardboard with the appropriate dimensions. Ask someone you know to put it to the wall and hold it, and arrange yourself as if you were about to watch a movie. This will help you find the most suitable TV position for the best viewing experience.
Step 2
Measure everything carefully and mark on the wall where you want to drill holes. Note that a sufficiently strong base is required to attach the bracket. Concrete is best suited for this, but if you have plasterboard walls with a slatted frame, do not rush to despair. Use the device to find the slats and be sure to take into account their position. Check if there is an electrical cable running through it.
Step 3
Place the template against the wall, and then make sure that the anchor points are along the battens. Do not be lazy and measure everything with a building level, so you can make the installation quite accurately. Drill one base hole and check if you hit the rail. If you feel uncomfortable, move the sketch slightly to the side. For additional guidance, make holes between the slats.
Step 4
Begin installing the bracket, just do not confuse the top with the bottom. Tighten the bolts carefully without tightening them all the way. Make sure you installed everything correctly. Measure the horizontal level and only then tighten the bolts.
Step 5
Very, very carefully, without making any sudden movements, turn the TV upside down. Place it on a rug or blanket on the floor. Install the mountings on the body and tighten them with the bolts.
Step 6
Ask someone from your relatives to help you, lift the TV together and slowly install it into the rail of the bracket. Do not forget to fix this position. If the bracket allows you to install the plasma at an angle, be sure to check the resulting slope, and if necessary adjust it.
Step 7
Install the cable duct. This will allow you to hide all the wires. Mark the positioning points of the holders directly below the TV. Drill the required holes and screw on all available parts. Lay the wires carefully.
Step 8
Install the box cover by hiding the edges behind the TV. Now everything is ready, and you can safely invite your friends to watch the movie and ask them to rate the result.
