Some wireless internet providers make their own modem variants that only work with their SIM cards. The problem of using other providers on the same modem is solved by changing the settings manually, as well as by flashing.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the "My Computer" menu and right-click in the free area of the tap. Select "Properties" from the context menu and go to the tab responsible for configuring the hardware parameters. Run the "Device Manager", in the window that appears, select your "Beeline" modem. Open its properties.
Step 2
Call the technical support service of the provider whose services you are going to use in the future (in this case, Megafon, phone number - 0500) and find out the settings for the USB modem, then just change them in its properties, apply and save the changes and create a new network connection with the parameters you specified.
Step 3
If the previous option did not help you, use an alternative method. Find out the model of your modem and download the appropriate firmware for it. Please note that this procedure should only be performed on a desktop computer using the Windows operating system.
Step 4
After downloading the firmware files, check them for viruses and remove the SIM card from the modem, close the Beeline software and insert the modem back into the computer. After that, launch the firmware program and wait for the update and file replacement procedure to complete. If the system asks you for the path to the device driver, specify the folder where the Beeline program was installed, by default it is the ZTE directory in the Program Files folder.
Step 5
If an error report appears during flashing, be sure to check that the software version matches the model of your device. Also, do not try this operation on a laptop. If you have not previously performed a flashing of devices and are not familiar with the main differences in the models of USB modems, entrust your equipment to service centers.
