Instructions

Step 1

To set the clock in a Samsung smartphone with the Bada operating system, first go to the one of the screens on which the "Settings" icon is located. It looks like a shiny gear against a blue background. Click on this icon and a menu will appear. Select the "Date and Time" item in it. You will see several input fields allowing you to specify the time zone, enter the date and time, select the time display format (12 or 24 hours), and how the date is displayed (by default, day-month-year). When you select a field for the date and time, a keyboard will automatically appear on the screen, allowing you to enter numbers.

Step 2

Below the form for entering data there is a button "Auto update". Click on it to enable synchronization of the phone clock with the base station clock. This will increase the accuracy, but an error of one hour is possible: despite the fact that the transition to winter time is canceled, the base station server can be configured without taking this fact into account.

Step 3

On a device running the Android operating system, first also find the Settings icon on one of the desktops. It looks the same as in Bada, differing only in color: instead of a blue background, a dark gray is used. Select the menu item "Date and Time". Now, having indicated the value of which of the items you want to change, increase or decrease the value of the corresponding parameter using the soft keys with plus and minus. And the "Automatic" button in Android works the same as the "Auto update" button in Bada.

Step 4

If you are using a Windows Phone 7 smartphone, select the one with the Settings icon, which is a flat white gear on a bright red or purple background. All other icons have the same background color on this screen, except for one - Xbox Live, which has a green background. In the menu that appears, select the "Date + Time" item. Select the time zone, manually enter the time and date. And if you want the phone's clock to be synchronized with the base station, turn on the "Set automatically" checkbox.
