Several years ago, players appeared on the multimedia market for video formats other than traditional MPEG and DivX. Just like multimedia devices, HD media players have firmware.
It is necessary
Flash drive or hard drive, previous firmware version
Instructions
Step 1
Download the old version of the firmware from the manufacturer's website. We write the firmware to the media.
Step 2
Change the name of the firmware to a higher value than the one installed in the HD media player. For example, the installed version is 1.001.5, and the previous one is 1.001.4, then you need to rename the previous one to 1.001.6.
Step 3
Connect the USB flash drive to the USB connector of the HD player and turn it on. He independently determines the availability of a new version and the user only has to confirm his consent to the flashing. The entire procedure for returning to the old firmware is automatic.
Step 4
Restart the HD media player for the changes to take effect.
