Radio is the most efficient form of communication. And it will not lose its significance soon, since in a number of cases the information necessary for a large number of people can be disseminated only by radio. Your own radio station can be used to broadcast local news, emergency messages, including messages from the Ministry of Emergencies, for quick notification of upcoming events. You can organize radio broadcasting in a village, a summer cottage settlement, a children's country camp. There are 3 main methods of radio transmission, and the choice of one of them depends on the specific conditions.

It is necessary

  • Control radio receiver with a well-calibrated scale
  • Vacuum tube radio or tube amplifier TU-50, TU-100
  • Telephone two-wire wire
  • Antenna wire
  • Radio tubes
  • Microphones
  • Mixing console
  • Possible sound sources: computer, tape recorder, CD-player

Instructions

Step 1

The first broadcasting method, called "wire broadcasting", is used for a small number of radio listeners living compactly. Such broadcasting can be organized in an apartment building or a small campground. In this case, the easiest and most reliable way is to lay a line to each subscriber and install an ordinary radio point at the receiving site. The radio points are connected in parallel and connected to the low-impedance winding of the output transformer of a tube radio receiver or radio center (sometimes there is a special “transmission line” socket for this). The output of the mixing console is connected to the input of the radio receiver or to the corresponding input of the broadcast amplifier.

Step 2

If the broadcast needs to be conducted on portable transistor radio receivers in a relatively small area, then it is possible to use induction radio broadcasting. Induction radio broadcasting consists in the fact that all subscribers are inside one or several turns of the loop antenna laid along the perimeter of the territory. A loop of copper or aluminum wire can be used as a loop antenna, which runs along the entire perimeter of the broadcast zone (camp or small village). The loop should be suspended at a sufficient height so as not to obstruct the passage and passage. This type of broadcast requires the creation of a radio transmitter. Reception is carried out on a conventional radio receiver with a medium wave range.

Step 3

On-air broadcasting is carried out in the event that it is necessary to distribute information over a fairly significant territory. Reception is carried out on conventional transistor or tube receivers. The transmitter should be tuned to a free area in the frequency range from 1 to 1.7 kHz. The control receiver in this area should not listen to any radio stations. For broadcasting, it is necessary to assemble a radio transmitter circuit. The modulation signal is taken from the output transformer of a tube radio receiver, turned on as an amplifier, or from a broadcast radio station. The transmitter should be equipped with an antenna in the form of a 40-80 m long wire suspended at the maximum possible height.
