The need to dub a cartoon can be caused by several reasons. For example, you bought a disc with a foreign-made cartoon with original voice acting and want to dub it yourself in Russian, or you yourself have created an animated film, or you want to create a funny caricature or parody.

Step 1
The nature and quality of voice acting can vary. Many people would like to voice their favorite cartoon at home. This is the easiest way, but at the same time not the best in quality. If you are voicing a cartoon that already has audio tracks, then, as a rule, they should be deleted. Removal is carried out using special programs. There are quite a few of them, and you can download them on the Internet at the request of "Programs for removing audio tracks" or use conventional media file editor programs.
Step 2
After deleting the audio track with the original voice acting, separately record your voice, and then add this track to the video. The same media file editors are used.

You can also make an audio recording of your dubbing in parallel with watching a video, that is, when watching a video, its dubbing is simultaneously conducted. This method is less preferable to the previous one, since a separate audio track can be recorded with better quality, without interference and extraneous sounds, and with simultaneous recording of both video and audio, extraneous sounds and noises are practically impossible to exclude. However, this method is more convenient in terms of synchronizing video and audio tracks.

In the absence of an audio track, for example, when the video does not contain sound, the methods indicated above are used at home.

The best option for dubbing a cartoon, which gives high quality sound and its synchronization with video, is studio recording. It is, of course, expensive, but if quality is more important, then take a video and take it to the studio. Enter into an appropriate agreement with the studio, where you can reflect any wishes regarding the quality of dubbing. This will give you a quality and professional product.
