Step 1
To "remake" a movie that you successfully watch on a computer, but which at the same time completely refuses to play on your mobile phone, you will have to resort to the help of specialized software. The choice of this or that program will depend on the platform on which your phone is running. Alternatively, you can use universal multifunctional converters that successfully convert not only video, but also audio files.
Step 2
If you are using an Android phone, download and install one of the following programs on your computer: Movavi Video Converter, Xilisoft Video Converter, aEncoder, or any similar.
Step 3
If you have an iPhone, you can use any of the following programs: Cucusoft Video Converter, Xilisoft iPod Video Converter, iPodME, Handbrake, etc.
Step 4
If your phone runs on the Symbian operating system or on the J2ME platform (regular phones, not smartphones), try one of the following multifunctional programs: SUPER, Format Factory, ZuneConverter, etc. Any of these converters can also be used to convert files for Android. iOS and Symbian.
Step 5
After downloading and installing the program, run it and add a video file. As a rule, it is enough to drag the file into the program window while holding it with the mouse.
Step 6
Set the target file format. If the converter is "sharpened" for a specific platform, you can skip this step, since the settings will be set by default.
Step 7
Select the folder where the finished file will be saved. In the configuration of most converters, the source directory (in which the original file is located) is selected as the default folder.
Step 8
Start the conversion process and wait for it to finish.
