Instructions

Step 1

Download and save the e-book file to your PDA. They can be presented in various formats. The most common ones are txt, pdf, fb2, rtf and doc. There are others that can be encountered as well. These are pdb, prc, odt, tcr, sxw, abw, zabw, chm, html, djvu.

Step 2

To read books in pdf format, install Adobe Acrobat for Pocket PC on your PDA. You can download it from the manufacturer's official website. To do this, launch your web browser and go to adobe.com, in the Products tab, find the required program. Save it to your PDA and install it.

Step 3

To read e-books of other formats, you will need one of the specialized programs. There are a large number of such applications. Some of them are positioned as universal (i.e., capable of working with files of various formats), others are applications for reading certain specific formats. Among the most popular of them are Haali Reader, AlReader, Foxit Reader (an alternative to Adobe Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC for reading pdf), etc. It is worth noting that some programs can work with e-book files located in zip archives, which allows you to save a place.

Step 4

Choose one of the book reading apps for yourself. Make your choice based on which format you read more often. You may need multiple applications at once.

Step 5

Download the selected program to the PDA and install it. It is better to install the program into the built-in memory of the PDA. After that, launch the installed application. Open the e-book file using its interface. Different programs can use different buttons for this, but, as a rule, it is File, Menu or Open. By clicking on the corresponding button in the dialog box, select the desired e-book file.
