A vacuum cleaner is a vital necessity for everyone - what other household appliance will quickly put things in order in your house. Although if you do not want to spend money on expensive equipment, you can make a vacuum cleaner with your own hands.
Necessary
- Empty bottle
- Sponge for washing dishes
- Silicone
- garden hose
- Electric pump (for example, you can take one from an old self-inflating mattress)
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the hose into two pieces (you can choose the length to your liking, but the piece that will be used to collect dust should be twice as long as the second).
Step 2
Cut a hole in the top of the bottle and glue one end of the short piece of hose to the edges. Attach the other end to the part of the pump that emits air.
Step 3
Cut another hole in the sides of the bottle above the hole you cut earlier. Place a sponge in there. It will serve as a filter for your homemade vacuum cleaner.
Step 4
Now take a long piece of hose. Treat one end with silicone glue and attach to the pump. The other end of this hose will collect dust! Now you can turn on your new vacuum cleaner and start cleaning.
