Garmin navigators are devices for navigating unfamiliar terrain. The devices can be used both in the car and for walking. You can also open the navigator map using a computer in order to plan your travel route in advance.

Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the Garmin Mobile PC software. You can download it from the link https://podrostok.org.ru/soft/33754-navigator-garmin-dlya-pk.html. Unzip the resulting file to any folder and run the Main.msi installer from it. Then enable the application by sequentially clicking the Yes, Done, Ok, Skip, Yes, I agree buttons.
Step 2
Go to the "Settings" menu, then the "About" item, copy the program code from there, run the application that was in the archive, paste the received code there. Then click the Generate button, copy the text code and open the Notepad program, right-click - "Paste". Next, save the file to the folder with the installed GarminMobilePC / Garmin application called sw.unl.
Step 3
Copy the maps to the C: / GarminMobilePC application directory. Map files must have the following names: gmapbmap.img, or gmapsupp.img, as well as gmapsup2.img, gmapprom.img. To download detailed maps, download or copy files in img format from the navigator's memory with the same names as in the previous sentence. Paste them into the application folder.
Step 4
Install the Mapsource app to download maps to your computer. You can download it from the link https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209. Create the MS Distrib directory on your hard drive. Unzip the downloaded file into it, then run Main.msi.
Step 5
When installing, write the name of the account in Latin, since the Cyrillic alphabet is not accepted by the program. Launch the program, create a set of maps, send the file to the GarminMobilePC program or any other folder, and then copy it to the application folder. Then launch the GarminMobilePC app and select the set you created.
