Many modern video cards from Nvidia have a TV-out connector for connecting to a TV. Sometimes the connector used by the video card does not match the connector on the TV, making it difficult to connect. However, Nvidia usually comes with special adapters. Also, some settings need to be made in the driver control panel.

Step 1
If the connection is carried out using the HDMI output, which is available on almost all modern video cards, then the process is no different from connecting a regular computer monitor. HDMI is available on all new plasma or LCD TVs. Just connect the appropriate cable to the output of the video card and the input of the TV. If the TV is used as a second monitor, then in the properties of the video card, indicate the fact of its connection and specify the appropriate resolution.
Step 2
For other TVs, a TV-out output is provided. An S-Video cable can be connected to a TV-out, but a TV-out will not connect to an S-Video outlet. To connect to the TV, special adapters are used. It is best to use a universal adapter, because it has S-Video, RGB-component (consists of three plugs of the corresponding colors) and composite yellow input. Sometimes it is enough to use a conventional composite adapter.
Step 3
Additionally connect a sound adapter if you need sound transmission. TVs use an RCA connector, while conventional computers use a mini-jack. Such a cable has at one end a suitable plug for a video card, and at the other two "tulips" in red and white.
