Modern digital video cameras have ample opportunities to capture rare and interesting episodes of our life. When shooting with a camcorder, the user has to periodically adjust the device parameters under varying exposure conditions. Depending on the type of camera, the sequence of setting the settings may be different, the general principles remain unchanged. Let's consider how to properly set up a Sony camcorder when shooting.
Instructions
Step 1
Select items in the settings menu to determine the desired shooting settings. Some values are set by default, but you can change them if necessary to suit your exposure requirements.
Step 2
If desired, display a frame on the screen to check the horizontal and vertical position of the subject. The frame is not recorded on the image. To better balance the composition of the frame, position the subject at the intersection of the reference frame. Selecting the Guide Frame function will show the area displayed on the screen while viewing the recording.
Step 3
To compensate for camera shake during shooting, set “On” for “Steadyshot”. If a tripod is used, the image will look natural even when the function is disabled. In some camera models, you can magnify the image up to 12 times using the optical zoom; the “Steadyshot” parameter must be active.
Step 4
If a conversion or wide-angle lens is attached to the camera, make sure the menu is set to the appropriate setting for that lens type. Some modifications provide for the installation and adjustment of a teleconversion lens as well. Note that if you set this lens to a value other than Off, the built-in flash will not fire.
Step 5
When shooting portraits or group shots, turn on the face recognition system in the settings. To do this, activate the function "Def. persons ". The disadvantage is that under certain shooting conditions, such as low light conditions, this function may not work effectively. In such cases, disable the function altogether.
Step 6
Use the Priority setting for face detection and smile shutter. install. This will automatically set the color adjustment and focus of the selected faces. If necessary, additionally configure the camera to recognize the faces of adults or children.
Step 7
For additional useful functional settings, carefully read the instruction manual for your specific camcorder model. Specific settings may differ from the standard feature set depending on the model.
