In the smartphone market, there is a fierce struggle between leading manufacturers. Following the presentation of new models by Samsung and Nokia in early September, Motorola also told the world about its new developments.
Motorola, one of the world's largest electronics manufacturers, was acquired by Google some time ago. Having received such strong support from the parent company, it is now trying to compete in the smartphone market not only with Nokia and Samsung, but also with such a "heavyweight" as Apple. According to the plans of Motorola's management, three new smartphones of the Droid Razr line will help the company to take its market share.
The release of three variants of smartphones at once - Droid Razr HD, Maxx HD and M is intended to cover as wide a range of users as possible. It is not hard to guess that the new gadgets will work on the Android operating system developed by Google.
The technical characteristics of the new smartphones a year ago could have been called outstanding, but after the presentations of Motorola's competitors, they no longer look impressive, but simply correspond to the times. The gadgets have already become a usual dual-core processor, a large 4.7-inch screen with HD resolution. The Droid Razr HD smartphone has a 2500 mAh battery, two cameras, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory. Google Chrome browser is preinstalled, 4G LTE network is supported.
The Droid RAZR Maxx HD has a battery, its capacity has been increased to 3300 mAh. The third model - Droid RAZR M - received a reduced screen size of 3.7 inches and a 2000 mAh battery. Thus, the consumer will receive three variants of the smartphone, from compact to full-size with a variation of the latter in terms of battery capacity.
It can be stated that Motorola has released a completely modern line of smartphones with very good characteristics. The price of the two older models of gadgets has not yet been reported, the youngest - Droid RAZR M - will be sold in the United States for $ 100, subject to signing a two-year contract upon purchase. Nothing has been reported about the time of the start of the release of smartphones, but there is information that new gadgets will be on sale by Christmas.
