Step 1
You can use your tablet as a Wi-Fi hotspot, i.e. a modem to connect other devices to a wireless cellular network that is available on your device. To perform this operation, your device must have a SIM card installed with a connected Internet package.
Step 2
Go to the "Settings" menu of your device and select the "More" section in the proposed menu. Next, you will see "Modem Mode". Click on this item to perform further operations.

Activate the item "Wi-Fi hotspot". It may also be called Wi-Fi HotSpot, depending on the version of Android installed on your device. If you want to change the connection parameters, click on the "Configure access point" item and enter a name for the Wi-Fi network being created, which will be displayed in the list of available points for connection on other devices.
Step 4
Set the authorization method your tablet will use to connect other devices to the network. It is best to use the WPA2 PSK item, because it is supported by most modern devices and is secure enough to create a portable hotspot via a tablet.
Step 5
Enter a password that must be more than 8 characters long. It is advisable to use numbers and letters written in different case. This will maximize the security of your device from unknown users connecting to it.
Step 6
Click Save to apply the changes, then turn Wi-Fi Hotspot off and on again. Now you can share your password with people for whom you would like to open a connection, or use other devices to connect yourself. Setting up your tablet as a Wi-Fi modem is now complete.
