Many people who want to have a good satellite TV, resort to the help of companies specializing in the installation of satellite dishes. However, the services of these companies are quite expensive. If you want to save money, it makes sense to try to set the plate yourself, in fact, it is not at all as difficult as it might seem at first glance.

Instructions

Step 1

Choose a place to install a satellite dish. It is best to choose a location in the southern direction, because for the European part of Russia the satellite is located in the south. Try not to have any unnecessary objects on the line connecting the dish and the satellite - they will jam the satellite signal to one degree or another and spoil the image quality.

Step 2

Assemble your satellite dish according to the assembly instructions that came with it. Fix the converter on the holder, now attach the cable to it. Attach the antenna support to the wall of the building, hang the antenna. Attach the converter at random, but it is best if you position it with the connector down, because this will prevent water from getting inside your converter.

Step 3

Handle the antenna mirror very carefully. The fact is that even a very slight deformation of this mirror can greatly degrade the quality of the signal received by the antenna.

Step 4

If you are setting up your plate in Moscow, it is better to set it vertically, that is, so that the plate saucer is set perpendicular to the surface of the earth. If you are installing a plate in St. Petersburg, then in this case, tilt it forward a little. If you decide to install a plate in Volgograd, then it is best to tilt it back a little.

Step 5

Now connect your TV and receiver following the instructions provided with the receiver. Perform tuning on open channels, such as TNT, NTV, etc.

There are two ways to set up the receiver.

Step 6

First method: in the menu of the receiver, select the item "Fine tuning", then slowly turn the antenna until you get the best signal from the satellite (watch the image on the TV or monitor). Fix the antenna in the best possible position.

Step 7

The second method: if your satellite receiver does not have the ability to fine-tune, without going into the menu, select an open channel and, turning the dish, until you get the desired image. Attach the antenna and enjoy watching.

Step 8

That's it, now you can enjoy your satellite TV and the fact that you installed it yourself.
